Mozart La Para Closed Out Festival Presidente With A Bang

In The Dominican Republic

The leader of the urban movement in the Dominican Republic, Mozart La Para, took the stage at one of the most important musical events in his home country. This past weekend the urban sensation performed at the Dominican Republic’s Festival Presidente 2017, alongside superstars like Justin Timberlake, Ricky Martin, Juan Luis Guerra, Carlos Vives, J Balvin, Maluma, and Bad Bunny. Mozart La Para closed out the festivities with a bang.

In addition to his performance, the artist joined Juan Luis Guerra for an impromptu freestyle of his hit song “Levántate” during Guerra’s set. The spectacular world-class festival took place at the Estadio Olímpico Felix Sanchez in Santo Domingo.

Among his other latest accomplishments, Mozart La Para became the first urban music artist from the Caribbean nation to perform at the prestigious Budweiser Made in America Festival in Philadelphia. He was also one of only two Latin acts invited to participate. Additionally this past summer, Mozart La Para embarked on his first European tour visiting countries such as Spain, Switzerland, Italy, and Germany, and solidified his status as the most important Dominican urban music artist working today. His honest verses and revolutionary sound have already captivated international audiences.

In a historic move last year, Mozart La Para became the first talent signed under the Roc Nation Latin division spearheaded by “The King of Bachata,” Romeo Santos. With a clear vision of what dedication and hard work can achieve, the young star overcame his humble beginnings and chose to devote his life to music at an early age. Success did not come easy for him, but it was worth the struggle. That’s the message Mozart La Para shares with the world in hopes of inspiring others to pursue their passions.
