Matt Hunter has quickly made a name for himself as one of the youngest international Latin pop artists. With close to 3 million followers on social media, +9 million streams on Spotify for his most recent single, Mas Que Tu Amigo, and already selling out an arena of over 12,000 fans, Matt has begun to make his mark in the music industry.

Born in New Jersey and raised in New York City like any American kid, Matt was brought up in a multicultural household of Colombian and Italian descent, speaking both English and Spanish. At age 12, Matt became the voice of Diego on the popular children’s show “Go Diego Go.” A year later, he released his first Spanglish single and music video, Mi Amor, attracting over 1 million views on YouTube. Within six months, Matt’s fan base flourished, marking themselves as the “Hunters.” The following year, at age 14, Matt released a second single, Mi Senorita, that soared with popularity, landing him an appearance with TV host Don Francisco on his annual Telethon event. This helped to further ignite Matt’s presence as a talented artist and young heartthrob throughout Latin America and the United States.

At age 15, Matt sold out MovieStar’s arena in Santiago, Chile with over 12,000 fans in attendance. The following year, he performed at Z100’s Jingle Ball Concert at Madison Square Garden after winning the “Home Town Hero” contest where fans voted on who they wanted to see perform. He then embarked on a multi-city tour of South America and Europe, making his mark in Mexico, Spain, Chile, Dominican Republic, Colombia, Argentina, Costa Rica, and Ecuador.
