ANAADI is nominated for four Latin Grammys with her album “Noturno”
Olé Communication- ANAADI is a rising Brazilian singer, whose debut album titled “Noturno” has four nominations for the 19th Latin Grammys including Record of the Year for the single “É Fake (Homem Barato)”, Best New Artist, Best Portuguese Language Contemporary Pop Album and Best Engineered Album.
Beginning her career as a Jazz and Brazilian singer, ANAADI has developed an incendiary style, invoking urban sounds, which excite an “ethnically mixed world.” Writing 9 of the 11 songs featured on “Noturno,” ANAADI has quickly become a force to be reckoned with in contemporary Brazilian music. Her credits as a singer and composer include collaborations with exceptional artists such as Rick Wakeman, Roberto Menescal and Max de Castro, among others; as well as commemoration from leading figures in Brazilian music like Ivan Lins and Carlinhos Brown.
ANAADI’s work doesn’t simply consist of a powerful trajectory and background, but also of creating social awareness for the most vulnerable populations, as she states in the description of her Latin Grammy-nominated “É Fake”- “This goes to all fake men, especially those who want to take our rights, our powers, our brilliance, our light!”
