Latin American melancholy is the center of this romantic bolero entitled “El Viento”, the first single that Eljuri released today from her upcoming album that will launch this October. With this first installment from the singer, composer and great guitarist who was born in Ecuador and based in New York since childhood, it is easy to refer back to great ballroom dancing and to the Caribbean sensuality.
Doing homage to traditional Latin rhythms and harmonics, the lead guitar used on the solo of this song is one of Eljuri’s own invention, an electric tres, custom built for her by her personal luthier.
In her third and new soloist album entitled “La Lucha”, Eljuri travels through musical landscapes with her songs and her guitar that ranges from rock and pop-punk to bolero, and through reggae and Afro-Caribbean rhythms, all presented with elegance and with an empowering female voice.

La melancolía latinoamericana es el centro en este bolero romántico titulado “El Viento”, primer sencillo que Eljuri estrena hoy como adelanto a su nuevo álbum que saldrá a la venta este próximo mes de Octubre. Con esta primer entrega de la cantante, compositora y gran guitarrista nacida en Ecuador y radicada en New York desde niña, es fácil remitirnos a los grandes bailes de salón y la sensualidad caribeña.
Haciendo homenaje a los ritmos afro-latinos tradicionales y sus armonías, la guitarra principal usada en el solo de la canción es un invento de la propia Eljuri, un tres eléctrico que su laudero personal construyó por encargo para la artista.
En su tercer y nuevo álbum como solista con el título “La Lucha”, Eljuri viaja a través de paisajes musicales con sus canciones y guitarra que van desde el rock y el pop-punk, hasta el bolero, pasando por el reggae y los ritmos afro-caribeños, todo esto presentado con elegancia y una voz femenina y empoderada.
