Off the heels of a three-time Billboard #1 hit single, Christian Daniel releases “Ahora Que Te Vas” (Now That You Are Leaving); the second cut off his upcoming new album due this summer. The song was composed Christian Daniel, Gocho and Chris Jeday as an homage to his father, who passed away in February. As do most musicians and composers, the artist vented his feelings of despair as he sat bedside his real-life hero; he did so with a set of goosebump-inducing lyrics.
In order to preserve its vulnerability, the musical arrangements remain acoustic, letting his melancholic voice be the main focus of this new hit. “Ahora Que Te Vas” can be heard currently on radio stations across the US and Puerto Rico and is available on all digital music platforms. Christian Daniel continues to breathe new life into Latin Pop as he releases this new record containing an even more powerful message than his previous single, “Me Vuelvo Un Cobarde”.
Directed by Mike Ho and produced by Jessy Terrero, the music video was shot in the California desert and will be making its debut in the upcoming weeks. Mike Ho is a renowned director who has worked with celebrities such as Mary J. Blige, Chris Brown and Christina Milian, to name a few.
Christian Daniel will perform “Me Vuelvo Un Cobarde” this July 16 on Univision’s annual edition of a Teen Choice Awards, Premios Juventud. The artist will strive to give an unprecedented performance and leave an everlasting impression on the millions of people that will tune-in.
