Current Latin Grammy nominees Julión Álvarez, Silvestre Dangond, Natalia Lafourcade, and Nicky Jam will perform on the 16th Annual Latin Grammy Awards along with a special performance by this year’s Latin Recording Academy Person of the Year Roberto Carlos. Adding to the star-studded roster, Major Lazer and MØ will make their Latin Grammy stage debut for what will be an unforgettable performance. Mexican actress Jacqueline Bracamontes and Puerto Rican singer/songwriter and actress Roselyn Sánchez will host, together for the first time, the Biggest Night in Latin Music, which is scheduled to air live on the Univision Network Nov. 19 from 8–11 p.m. ET/PT (7 p.m. Central) from the MGM Grand Garden Arena in Las Vegas.

Julión Álvarez y Su Norteño Banda and Silvestre Dangond each received one nomination. In the Best Banda Album category Julión Álvares y Su Norteño Band are nominated for El Aferrado. Dangond is nominated with Lucas Dangond in the Best Cumbia/Vallenato Album category for Sigo Invicto.

Lafourcade, three-time Latin Grammywinner and one of this year’s leading nominees, received five nominations: Album Of The Year and Best Alternative Music Album for Hasta La Raíz, and Record Of The Year, Song Of The Year and Best Alternative Song for “Hasta La Raíz.”

Nicky Jam has two nominations for Best Urban Performance: “Una Cita (Remix)” with Alkilados Featuring J Alvarez & El Roockie, and “El Perdón” with Enrique Iglesias.

Previously announced performers include current nominees ChocQuibTown, J Balvin, Natalia Jiménez, Juan Luis Guerra, Matisse, and Raquel Sofía as well as a special performance by Grammy winner Will Smith and current nominees Bomba Estéreo.

Preceding the Latin Grammy Awards telecast, Univision will present exclusive “Noche De Estrellas” (“Night Of The Stars”) coverage of the celebrity arrivals direct from the Latin Grammy Awards red carpet starting at 7 p.m. ET/PT (6 p.m. Central). “Noche De Estrellas” will feature live interviews and commentary on the stars and their fashion, and will provide viewers an intimate look at Latin music’s most glamorous event while connecting fans with their favorite celebrities via social media.

Julión Álvarez y Su Norteño Banda está nominado por Mejor Álbum De Música De Banda por El Aferrado. En la categoría Mejor Álbum De Cumbia/Vallenato Dangond está nominado por Sigo Invicto con Lucas Dangond.

Lafourcade, la múltiple ganadora del Latín Grammy, una de las nominadas principales, recibió cinco nominaciones: Álbum Del Año y Mejor Álbum De Música Alternativa Hasta La Raíz, y Grabación Del Año, Mejor Canción Alternativa, y Canción Del Año por “Hasta La Raíz”.

Nicky Jam cuenta con dos nominaciones por Mejor Interpretación Urbana por “Una Cita (Remix)” junto a Alkilados Featuring J Alvarez & El Roockie, y por “El Perdón” con Enrique Iglesias.
